Through My Eyes (2019)

A Spoken word piece centered around a blood condition the writer (Chloë Adlerstein) was born with "Beta Thalassemia Intermedia" due to which she has a yellow-ish tinge to white of her eyes and skin. Chloë, exasperated by people pointing this out to her on a daily basis, wrote this piece to raise awareness; not only for her rare blood condition, but to make the point that not such common things are also hurtful to highlight. Chloë wanted to show people the importance of sensitivity around all subjects and to help others accept and love themselves just as they are.
