Among Us is a documentary style single-camera drama. The overall narrative is partly existential in that it deliberates over the possibility of people who have died being present in an unseen dimension among us. With Among Us the viewer has the benefit of seeing that dimension and experiencing six short monologues; these are spoken by deceased people whose frustration is apparent in their attempts to interact with the living. The film is woven with the theme of love, either lost or found or a love for oneself. Death has not immediately changed our characters or enhanced their existence but the inference is that in time love with provide happiness.
