The little village of Fälamog is reopening its old school house, but eleven year old Agnes is by some reason not welcomed to attend. Together with two friends and the old storyteller of her village, she decides to open her own school. This stirs secrets from the past and pulls into the drama - the story of Näcken and his violin of the forest lake.
