Silences (2017)

'Silences', an homage to the iconic Japanese director Yasujiro Ozu, revolves around the life of the young woman Imako who comes to study music from Japan to the U.S. Since she comes early in the summer for the autumn semester, she stays with old and reclusive professor Oshiro. The initial coldness of the professor leads to the dramatic eviction notice of and finally the warmth towards Imako when he comes to know of her past.
