Alive (2017)

Heinz Selbig is a man in advanced age who lives as a hermit in an old wooden house and is mostly busy with conspiracy theories. One day, when he is screwing around the cemetery, he suddenly meets Sarah, his daughter, whom he didn't meet since 20 years. But he doesn't let it show, that he is recognizing her. Sarah also doesn't really know how to act, but she musters all her courage and decides to search after him. She finds him at one of the few wooden houses near the cemetery and starts a conversation with him and immediately they both get confronted with their past and still open wounds. Step by step their conversation builds up intensity and ends up in action which they weren't able to foresee.
