Orpheus, the greatest singer that ever existed, is struck dumb. Having lost his love Eurydice to the Underworld for a second time, he tries to paint through his grief to reach acceptance. But he is haunted by voices and begins to sense that the whole world - from his garden's frog to his tea cups - will not let the loss lie.
