During the 1970s three breast cancer patients would emerge as vociferous critics of the horrific Halsted Radical Mastectomy and aggressively demanding the right to make decisions about their own bodies. The heated interaction between these strong-willed women and the headstrong male physicians would come to a head. After a decade intense breast cancer battle, freedom of choice would prevail.
