On the Road

The Syrian war has its impact the conscious of humanity and dramatically changed a life of a child his name Yusef. Yusef was badly injured and lost his house to the shelling of his town, and opened his eyes to a new life finding himself with one leg living with his mother in a tent in a makeshift camp in the middle of the nowhere surrounded by a vast desert. Through it all, Yusef maintain three wishes, to find his father, to leave the camp, and to have a prosthetic limb, to walk without crutches. Yusef's mother knew that his wishes could be granted only if they escape the camp. She also knew the grave danger with such attempt, and the journey to follow. They succeeded in their escape from camp accompanied by a young man who smuggled most supplies, and crossed several stations from Syria to Turkey, going through very dangerous and traitorous places. Nonetheless, every step they get closer to reach Yusef's wishes, the further they drift away.
