Try to Smile (2022)

Tiffany is a professional African-American woman, who is struggling with a generational curse that has been passed down by her mother. Tiffany seeks relief from a New Age psychologist, who helps her to find her "why." She discovers that she needs to have a "why" or a real reason for seeking help, before she can begin to heal.
