The Frame (2017)

The music videos for "Do U" and "Ride," (the singles off Nikö Blank's debut EP, "The Frame EP") draw inspiration from films like 2001: A Space Odyssey, Drive, and the work of Hayao Miyazaki. Together the two videos tell the story of a mysterious driver, who from his solitude and sanctuary can see many worlds, until he sees a young woman inside a frame and journeys to find her. After discovering that he and the young woman share a unique connection, they are forced to confront the reality of being from different worlds, prompting the audience to question is their time together reality, fantasy, or nothing more than a picture in a frame?
