A modern woman is disowned by her traditional Hindu parents for marrying worse than beneath her caste, an outsider (Dalit). When the same feelings that gave her the courage to follow her heart are captured by another man, Julie files for divorce. After learning her husband's terms of acceptance, Julie is pushed to the edges of her own sanity, forced to live with the worst settlement imaginable...getting everything she ever wanted.
