The fear of dying a painful death or watching a loved one die sometimes provokes drastic measures by the families of the dying and their caregivers. Hospice Holocaust takes an in-depth look into a growing epidemic labeled passive euthanasia otherwise viewed as physician-assisted suicide. Who's involved in this practice and is it really consensual? Hospice Holocaust is a diverse look into Hospice care and the real differences between hospice and palliative care. The film is directed to boost awareness of palliative and hospice care to determine if it is being used to accelerate the end of life process in those who do not qualify for this type of care? An Interview with the families and doctors of people who have seemingly been "euthanized" or given fairly heavy duty morphine drips to allow "dying in peace" or to control elderly care cost. An interview with "the angel of death" and a doctor's opinion who recommends to "hasten" the painful process of dying via hospice. We will present a triad of views, you decide, is this practice ethical or unethical? Under what circumstances is it ever moral for doctors and family members to decide to administer medications to hasten the process of death and dying in their patients or family members?
