For its sixty-fifth anniversary, the National Association of Italian Filmmakers (ANAC) has launched a four-part documentary film project of which 65 Times ANAC is a synthesis, yet unfinished, that nevertheless reveals what the definitive work will look like. In the film, the story of ANAC starts from the years prior to its founding right down to the present day. The bulk of the documentary consists of first-hand accounts and interviews featuring some of ANAC's historic members and exponents: Carlo Lizzani, Ettore Scola, Callisto Cosulich, Mino Argentieri and Emidio Greco; as well as Citto Maselli, Ugo Gregoretti, Nino Russo, Massimo Sani, Giovanni Arnone, Cecilia Mangini, Otello Angeli, and Virgilio Tosi.
