The story of New Jersey mob boss Tony Soprano in 1960s Newark as a young man witnessing the violent rivalry between factions of the mafia as he struggles between being loyal to his family or choosing a different life. Guided by his mentor, Dickie Moltisanti, Tony embraces organised crime and faces various conflicts. A prequel to the acclaimed series The Sopranos, starring Michael Gandolfini as the iconic character played by his late father, James Gandolfini.
