Waiting for Lichtenstein (2018)

Lichtenstein has become a hermit, a recluse. Some time after his blockbuster was released to critical acclaim and major success, he developed a panic disorder. Unable to meet the demands of the big studios and feeling like he sold out, he seeks refuge at an undisclosed location somewhere in the USA out of sight from the paparazzi and away from the prying eyes of his large fan base consisting mostly of females. When one day his 'team' finally plucks up the courage, he is approached by his agent and convinced that he must return to the screen for a passion project. An indie. One that would cement his standing as one of the greatest actors there ever was and bring him back to his roots. This remake of a classic needs him. Can he summon up the courage? Will he once again claim his title as Steve "the Legend" Lichtenstein? Will he grace us with truth or will fear get the better of him?
