O Zé do Burro (1972)

A typical rural Portuguese man bought a parcel of land in a lonely outpost, in the North of Mozambique, and manages (with trouble) to arrive there with his dear possession, a donkey. By sheer tenacityendurance and softness, like his donkey's, he manages to conquer the local people's trust and friendship. He even survives attacks by a local leader of Chinese extraction.
