Eraserhead (1977)

Henry Spencer, a downtrodden factory worker, finds his life thrown into turmoil in a nightmarish industrial wasteland. He learns that his estranged girlfriend has given birth to their child, but the infant is an otherworldly creature with a misshapen face. Alone in his grim apartment, Henry tries to care for the unearthly baby, but the relentless crying, combined with bizarre vision, blurs his grip on reality.
