Desideria (1980)

Sex scenes: A three-way scene with two women and a man is visible for a while, with full frontal and rear female nudity and rear male nudity. A television shows a very brief view of breasts and butts of two women atop one another. Another scene shows fleeting glimpses of pubic hair only.

The plot includes frequent depictions and/or references to many sexual elements, including sexual assault, prostitution, relations between adoptive parent and child, three-way sex, marriage, ending virginity, and menstruation. These events involve or are viewed or talked about by the lead character, fifteen-year-old Desideria.

Desideria tells a number of tales describing how she ended her virginity. She flirts with and suggests sex with another teen and, later, with a man.

Desideria discusses becoming a prostitute and selling her virginity. We see several prostitutes on the street; their clothing is not particularly revealing.

TV news talks about terrorism and shows crime victims lying on the ground. Violence is mentioned as likely during socio-economic revolution. A woman threatens to send her daughter to a school where hands are cut off for misbehavior.

Menstrual blood is seen on panties and on a hand.

A man harasses and manhandles Desideria, with sexual undertones. Later he forcibly pins Desideria against a wall and dry humps her over her objections.

One person chases another intending to stab.

A guy desecrates a photo: We see him spit on it a couple of times. He urinates, we only see the wet spot afterward. Defecating on it is suggested.

A person is stabbed in the throat. Blood streams out for a moment.

Two people are murdered by gunfire. One victim has a blood splotch on clothing. Another shows multiple splotches with some splatter. No other gore. A gun is used to threaten some people.

We see a character slapped to the ground twice, roughly manhandled, threatened, and otherwise physically and mentally abused.

Occasional sexual vulgarities, such as "saw him fuck my mom in the ass". A tremendous amount of slurring, fat- and sex-shaming, and hateful name-calling: "whore" (frequently), "slut", "shithead", "bastard", "bitch", "pig", "monster", "stupid", "jerk", and "jerkoff piece of shit". A few others.

Unspecified pills are used to attempt suicide.

Very frequent cigarette smoking. On just a couple of occasions, wine and whiskey are consumed socially and at a bar, including by Desideria. No obvious inebriation.

Early on, the film depicts a lot of hateful fat shaming of a teen.
