The Other Side of Gentleman (1984)

A group of concerned community leaders, business men, teachers, and religious officials commission a task force to try and understand why the youth of the nation are so lazy, irresponsible, and ignorant. They decide that the love of a respectable woman will set the male youth straight. They choose Alan Ng (Alan Tam), a cocky, arrogant, irresponsible jeans salesman to unwittingly be the subject of their experiment. They send one of the committee members (Brigitte Lin, who is engaged) to win Alan's affection and convert him to a respectable member of society.
