Affetti speciali (1989)

Two brothers, Ivano and Cris, aged about thirty, live in an old house near the sea with their mother and cousin Anna. In the house there is a serene atmosphere, a large number of relatives and friends come and go, and the inseparable brothers live blissfully. But one day the spell is broken: the mother falls, hits her head and goes into a coma. At the hospital where she is brought, they meet prof. Perrier, a brilliant but sinister neurologist, who convinces them to sell part of their property to buy a machine of his own invention, capable of saving the woman's life.
