My Cousin Vinny (1992)

When Bill Gambini and Stanley Rothenstein, two college friends, are wrongly accused of murder and robbery, they turn to Bill's lawyer cousin, Vincent Laguardia Gambini. The bad news for their defence is that Vinny's experience is rather lacking, and on the other hand he turns up with his super chatty fiancée, Mona Lisa Vito. This amusing comedy is highlighted by the performances of Joe Pesci and Marisa Tomei, who with her warm performance surprised by winning the Oscar for best supporting actress.
