A man fires a gun in a convenience store. It almost hits two men but ends up hitting glass bottles on a shelf behind them. This is sudden and intense.
There is violent content and themes throughout, but there are only actually one or two scenes of violence
No violence is show aside from a short graphic rape scene. All the violence is off screen we see the aftermath of two violent crime scenes and discussions of brutal violent acts.
LT slaps two men around.
Apart from the rape, almost nothing. A slap.
Not an action movie. It's a drama, a study in how a destroyed human falls down to hell. I think two single shots are fired in the entire movie. It reminds of movies like Taxi Driver, which contains a lot more violence and shooting, and the french movies I Stand Alone/Seul Contre Tous and Irreversible, both directed by Gaspar Noé.
Harvey Kietels character has a mental collapse near the end of the film, and starts yelling and crying in a church.
The film has very violent themes and dialogue, however the only violence is a scene of rape and a murder scene with two victims seen closeup.
