Barmherzige Schwestern (1993)

This is a silent persiflage on the German medical movies of the 1950s. Nurse Marlene and her two colleagues work devotedly at the hospital, especially in the baby's section. However the professor doesn't acknowledge their devotion, makes cynic remarks and ignores their advice. When Marlene fails to get the new young doctor Frommelt's romantic attention and three kidney patients constantly annoy her, she provokes an emergency on one of them and afterwards appears as his lifesaver - this works so well, she just has to try it again...
