Othello (1995)

Othello and Desdemona are shown having sex on their honeymoon. This does not occur on-stage in the play, but it is depicted in this film. We see them undressing, with a quick glimpse of Desdemona's bare breasts. We then see them from the waste up while they have sex, with loud gasping and motion that goes on for several seconds.

Two men listen to a man and woman having sex inside of a carriage. Very little is actually shown, but they can be heard moaning loudly.

A violent street brawl breaks out, causing great chaos to ensue and at least two people to be seriously injured. One person seems to have been stabbed in the chest and another to have been struck on the head. A good deal of blood is visible.

A man is murdered by having a sword stuck through his stomach. We don't see the blade enter his body, but we see him being stabbed and then see blood pouring out of his mouth. We later see him about to die, writhing in pain and covered in blood.

The final scene is violent, though it is not very graphic (see description below)

No profanity whatsoever.

Iago deliberately gets Cassio very drunk in order to make him irritable and then egg him into starting a fight. This certainly does not endorse this behavior.

The events of the film are intense and disturbing at times, but none of it is portrayed in a graphic manner.
