The Proposition (1998)

There is no nudity in the film, and most of the sexual activity is off-camera, except for one brief bed scene - that is along the lines of what one might see on TV. However, the theme of the movie involves a married woman sleeping with a man (actually two men), in hopes of getting pregnant - with her husband's reluctant permission. As such, there is somewhat frank talk about sexual matters, although little is shown.

Catholics (and others) might well be offended by the plot, which involves a priest falling in love with, and sleeping with, a married woman, thus breaking his vows of celibacy (and committing the sin of adultery).

There is little actual violence in the movie, by modern standards. One man punches another in the nose, bloodying it. And a woman dies in childbirth. with as little blood seen on her pillow. However, this is a murder mystery as well, and thus a young man is killed, although the murder itself is not seen. His dead body is seen later, in a coffin.

The priest is seen smoking in at least one scene. There is no drug use. One character drinks a shot of whiskey to bolster his courage. And toasts are exchanged, by a dinner party, to celebrate an occasion.
