Me and Charly (1978)

Steffen is a good child, a teenager who recently finished school and is looking for a job. He lives at home with his journalist widowed mother, Helle. He comes with Majbritt, the daughter of one of the rich men in Silkeborg, where the story takes place. Charly is a Copenhagen mess already knows life's dark sides and is placed in a youth home outside the city. They meet when Charly is trying to steal Steffen's moped. It will be the start of a friendship that will be stronger than anything else. As the story concludes, Charly again gets mixed up in something and have to run away, and now Steffen gives him his moped. The friendship has been shown to outweigh Steffens compared to Majbritt and the upper class, she represents.
