Essaïda (1996)

Famous painter living in Tunis, Amine, in his forties, is preparing an exhibition but is going through a crisis of creation. He meets Nidal, a delinquent teenager who begs to support his family, and beaten by his unemployed and alcoholic father. Intrigued, Amine follows Nidal to Essaïda, the popular district of Tunis where the young man resides. Upset by the neighborhood and its inhabitants, Amine decides to settle there to start her new life.
