The Thief of Bagdad (1924)

A cunning thief prowls the bustling streets of Bagdad, taking what he desires without any regard. His boldness leads him to the palace, where he encounters the princess and is instantly smitten. As royal suitors vie for her hand, a prophecy foretells that the man who first touches a rose-tree will win her heart. Disguised as a suitor, the thief inadvertently fulfills the prophecy, piting him against a ruthless Mongol prince.
