Luck and Sand (1925)

Captain Harris, a railroad civil engineer, is killed by Sanger and Foote after they have tried in vain to bribe him into telling them the location of the new right-of-way. They escape with Harris' map, and Jim Blake is unjustly suspected of the murder. The Harris map indicates that the new line will run through the ranch of Roy Wetzel, and Sanger offers to buy the land. Wetzel refuses, and Sanger has Wetzel framed for murder. Jim, who is in love with Lois Wetzel, Roy's sister, rescues Roy and proves Sanger to be the guilty party. Jim and Lois are married.
