After the tragic death of her husband in a long-standing feud with the Canfield family, a grieving widow sends her son away, hoping to shield him from the vendetta. Two decades later, young Willie McKay decides to return to his Southern roots. He falls for a charming woman named Virginia, only to discover she is a Canfield.
