Wolf Law (1922)

Hotheaded Jeff De Croteau wins a horse race, shoots a poor loser who has insulted him, and escapes across the state line. He falls in with a gang of rough men who are victimizing an old judge and his daughter. Jeff escapes with the judge and the girl and returns to his hometown to find that his enemy did not die. But he must--and does--prove himself innocent of a theft before declaring his love for the girl.
