North of Hudson Bay (1923)

On a steamboat journeying north, Michael Dane falls for Estelle MacDonald while retrieving her hat from the water. Arriving at the Hudson's Bay trading post, he discovers his brother Peter has been murdered. Michael himself becomes a suspect and is exiled to the wilderness. Estelle, fleeing an unwanted suitor, joins him. Together, they face a perilous escape, battling their pursuers and navigating dangerous rapids.
