This is an ongoing list for all fiction films on Letterboxd longer than 40 minutes (Following AFI & BFI Definitions). I will try and make sure there are no Documentaries, Stand Up Comedy, Music Gigs, Special Features, Filmed Plays etc. I will also remove TV series except for Pilots and Special full length episodes. I will keep early cinema serials. The aim is to log as many films as possible, without restrictions of how many people have viewed them, their rating, or number of likes. By the end of 2012. work was completed on the draft list of "100 Movies", which can be recommended for viewing on extracurricular activities in schools. The proposal to introduce school lessons movie was made at a round table in the Union of Cinematographers. Guide the Ministry of Culture and the Russian Ministry decided to jointly work out the idea. All the films mentioned in my class textbook: Film Art: An Introduction by David Bordwell, 10th edition, in the order they are mentioned. Not on Letterboxd: Aladdin, or the Wonderful Lamp (1906) Eiga-zuke (1994) Note: The book didn't explicitly mention Batman (1989) or The X Files: Fight the Future (1998), but rather the entire franchises of Batman and The X Files. Also, for actual film franchises mentioned (ex. LOTR), I just included the first film on the list.
