The Arm of the Law (1932)

A cabaret dancing-star, who has been mixed up with many men and was part of a divorce scandal, is found murdered, as is the man whose wife divorced him because of the dancer. Suspicion falls on the former wife and the man who had been the dancer's business attorney. They both assume the other is guilty but a hot-shot newspaper reporter and a bumbling detective think otherwise.
