Malwa (1957)

The story of rivalry between father and son over the love of one woman. Once upon a time, the peasant Vasily left his native village, leaving his wife and son Yakov. He worked for many years in the fishing industry, where, forgetting about his family, he became friends with the beautiful fisherman Malva and lived a serene life. But the grown-up son came to his father. Soon the relationship between him and Malva led to conflicts with his father.
