El cálido verano del Sr. Rodríguez (1965)

Pepe Rodríguez is preparing to go with his family. A simple office worker, although very fond of delusions of grandeur to present himself to others as a winner, the man has been left alone in Madrid to work during the hot summer while his wife and children spend their holidays in the mountains. But both during their journey and upon his arrival at the summer house they have rented, he will have to invent fanciful explanations about the bruise he has on one eye and which is related to his desperate attempts to have an extramarital affair.
