The Hustler (1961)

"Fast" Eddie Felson is a talented but self-destructive pool hustler. Eddie challenges the legendary Minnesota Fats to a marathon match, initially gaining the upper hand but ultimately losing everything. Seeking redemption, he partners with ruthless gambler Bert Gordon, who teaches him the harsh realities of the hustling world. As Eddie fights to reclaim his place, he must confront the cost to his soul and his relationships.
