Breathless (1960)

A sociopathic and petty thief, Michel Poiccard, runs from the authorities after killing a policeman in a hit gone wrong. He finds a way out when he reunites with an American female journalist, who he asks to join him on his escape to Italy. Oblivious to the danger that closes in, with the media, police and underworld actively looking for him, Poiccard wastes and wanders the city, both searching for owed debts and new love.
