Skin Deep in Love (1967)

Magician Mark Hess, a dark, handsome man who has little trouble attracting female admirers, becomes sexually excited by any resistance to his charms. Tanya Korak, Mark's assistant, offers herself to Mark, and he takes her as his occasional mistress, but he soon becomes fascinated by Nancy Sample, a cocktail waitress in the High Seas Bar where Mark and Tanya perform their magic act. One night, Mark lures Nancy to his room where his brash suggestions provoke her scorn, and he becomes enslaved by her resistance. Tanya then hypnotizes Nancy into submitting to Mark in the hope that he will lose his desire for Nancy, but the magician continues his courtship. Meanwhile, Rick MacLeod, a small-time hoodlum who has spent one memorable night with Nancy, becomes jealous of Mark.
