Hour of the Wolf (1968)

Johan Borg, a tormented painter, and his wife Alma are vacationing on a remote island. But as night falls, Johan struggles with disturbing visions and flashbacks. As Alma tries to comprehend her husband's suffering, she discovers a notebook with sketches reflecting the horrors he faces, gradually understanding where the images come from. The hour of the wolf, the darkest moment of the night, transforms Johan into an unrecognizable being, and he has no escape.
