Rendezvous at Corfu (1960)

On a hot Athenian summer, Mrs Eleni Labrinou--an affluent widow, proud hotelier, and mother of young solicitor and superficial philanderer Alekos--shows up at his doorstep, having a sudden announcement to make. Now, whether Alekos likes it or not, he'll have to accompany his mother to sun-kissed Corfu to visit her struggling business. But there, with the aid of the household's seemingly simple housekeeper, the mysteriously confident brunette Mirka, ingenious Eleni concocts an audacious, last-minute plan behind the back of her self-assured Casanova son to teach him a lesson in humility. However, is there more to Mirka than meets the eye? Can there be real passion between a rich man and a humble working-class young lady? Above all, can love prevail during this exciting rendezvous at Corfu?
