Cruise to Rhodes (1960)

Petros, a bankrupt, happy-go-lucky businessman, goes on vacation to the sunny island of Rhodes, pretending to be a successful shipowner. There, bent on finding a wealthy bride who would help him recover financially, Petros has a chance encounter with lovely Vera, the young daughter of an industrialist, and starts flirting with her, unbeknownst to him that she, too, is bankrupt. Of course, her desperate mother, Sofia, is more than happy to have suave Petros as her son-in-law, pressuring Vera to give in his romantic advances. However, little does Sofia know that Vera is already head-over-heels in love with Kostas, a handsome holidaymaker whom she has met entirely by fate, and completely naked, on a sandy, sun-kissed beach. Will things work in the end?
