Hired to make an industrial movie about a blind cyclist riding across Canada to raise money for glaucoma research, disgruntled filmmaker Brownie McFadden stumbles across an extraordinary letter: it describes a trip taken to the moon in 1959, a full ten years before Apollo. Intrigued and excited, Brownie shucks the plans for the cycling movie, and like an outlaw, heads out across Canada to seek the truth about the Mysterious Moon Men of Canada
