We Haven't Got a Cent (1963)

After making an embarrassing blunder while working as an assistant at a pastry shop, Thanassis, an aspiring football player, leaves behind the uneventful life of the province to pursue his dream in bustling Athens. However, on his way to the capital, anything that can go wrong will go wrong, as sardonic undertakers, lonely single women who don't take no for an answer, and an unwelcome brush with the law stand in the way of poor Thanassis' happiness. But, all that the innocent pipe-dreamer wanted was to start afresh in a new town and maybe, just maybe, find a purpose and true love. What does the future have in store for stony-broke Thanassis?
