First Encounter (1997)

In deep space the Earthsip ISS Gallant Fox is on the last leg of its tour of duty and en route home when it encounters an alien spacecraft drifting through the outer galaxy. When efforts to establish communication fail, Captain Ramsey Travis and those under his command board the mysterious ship. Their discovery of a crew of alien creatures locked in a defective suspended animation system sparks a life or death decision. When Travis gives orders that will lead to the resuscitation of the aliens, security officer Lt Edward Ganz, fearing the beings destructive power, defies the order and leads a mutiny against the captain. The explosive results threaten the survival of the entire crew and perhaps all of mankind.
