Ston iskio tou Theou (1969)

Oblivious of her father's devastating financial crisis, Anna--the young daughter of the former factory owner, Leonidas Madikas--returns to her hometown of Athens, after finishing her studies abroad. Unbeknownst to her that her parent is now living in the house of his ex-gardener, Anna throws a party at a lavish, yet unknown villa, only to come face to face with the ugly reality, and the mansion's true owners--Mrs Fotiou, and her pampered son, Dimitris. But, little by little--as the two youthful strangers fall for each other--a haughty mother's intransigence paired with an ironic enigma that stems from WWII, will, inevitably, put to the test the couple's fledgeling love. Can they handle the truth?
