Miss Lawyer (1933)

Fofi Kandri, an ambitious young woman from the Greek province, has set her sights on becoming the first woman lawyer in her village. After years of hard work, indeed, Fofi manages to make her dream come true, and while waiting for her first case, she decides to publish her law book; however, no one seems interested in buying it. To spare her the humiliation, the handsome and wealthy son of a Greek member of the parliament, Aristides Kadounis, decides to purchase every single copy of Fofi's book, of course, behind her back, driven by his passion for her. Will Fofi ever find out who her benefactor is? Above all, is she willing to juggle career and love?
