The Chambermaid's Romance (1965)

Even though she tried very hard to keep her poems secret, Katerina, a lively and hard-working live-in housemaid who dreams of a better life, finds herself without a job when her cruel boss, Mitsi, for fear of seducing her husband, Andreas, she shows her the door. In search of a new job, Katerina ends up working in the house of siblings, Magda and Parmenion, and before long, she becomes embroiled in a harmless plan, only to fall in love with the kind nephew of a Greek expatriate in America. Is this the beginning of a new, happy life?
