Engagement with Hurdles (1938)

Loulis, a young lawyer and confirmed bachelor who cherishes his precious freedom, is living a carefree life with his mother in their palatial estate. However, everything will turn upside down, when twenty-year-old Rena, the mansion's beautiful, dark-eyed live-in maid, sets her sights on seducing the affluent unmarried man. However, Loulis' mother has other plans in store for her irresponsible son, as she intends to marry him off to the kind daughter of one of her friends. Of course, this unexpected complication doesn't sit well with plotting Rena, who, without delay, concocts a bold plan to break off the engagement.
