One week in the lives of three strong-willed individuals. Mike is a taxi driver and unrequited Irish-American writer in the post-beat tradition. Mike lives with Maria, a beautiful, cultured Salvadorian who is carrying his child and expects him to live up to the responsibilities of fatherhood.
